Carlos Vicente

Carlos uses painting, illustration and printmaking as a tool to create his artwork. He is passionate about colour, nature and people.

He looks at art as a way of living, involving nature and the environment as an inspiration for his pieces and understanding of the world.

Carloss graduated from the University of Salford on Visual Arts in 2016, and since then he works as a Therapeutic activity coordinator at Manchester Royal Infirmary, collaborating with cultural organisations, artists and musicians to deliver workshops and therapeutic activities in a clinical environment.

His work was part of a group exhibition at Manchester Museum and he created public artwork for The Whitworth Art gallery, his practice has been developing around the community and his work at the hospital, using art as a therapeutic tool.
